Research

In my research, I aim to advance knowledge related to education and social justice. My various research projects have encompassed a range of topics and ideas, but they are all linked in their focus on Canadian education. I believe that historical context should inform research on current issues. Understanding the roots of Canada’s education system at different levels (from elementary schools to post-secondary) can help in understanding and creating research-based policies to support Canadians who struggle with attaining an education.
