Violence and Victims
Violence is an endemic societal problem. However, the impacts of violence are often felt more by certain individuals and communities than others. Members of our Criminology faculty work to better understand why violence occurs and to improve the lives of victims. Topics faculty in our Criminology program examine include serial and mass murderers, homicide, parricide, elder abuse, and violence against women, immigrants, and visible minorities.
