General Arts

The following are the program maps for the General Arts program (previously known as Liberal Studies) for those entering second, third and fourth year.

This program offers students a great deal of choice in their course selection, and opportunity to pursue the 4-year Honours Degree, or a 3-year General Degree. We are happy to work with you as you consider your options. We recommend that you connect with Social Science and Humanities Academic Advising office at SSHadvising@ontariotechu.ca to plan your degree progression.

** Please note – no more than 4 elective courses may be taken at the 1000-level. Elective options to consider within Social Science and Humanities have the following prefixes: COMM, CRMN, FPSY, INDG, LBAT, LGLS, POSC, PSYC, SOCI, SSCI and SUST.

Year 3 and 4

All year 3 and 4 students have received a personalized email (to their ontariotechu.net email) from academic advising with degree progression information and recommendations.
