Background
Dr. Logan Ewanation received his MA and PhD in Forensic Psychology from Carleton University. After completing his PhD, he was a postdoctoral fellow with Carleton University’s Institute of Criminology and Criminal Justice. Prior to joining Ontario Tech in 2023, Dr. Ewanation was a Professor at Sheridan College’s School of Public Safety.
Dr. Ewanation’s dissertation examined the effect of victim race on jurors' perceptions of lethal police use of force. In general, his research focuses on jurors' perceptions of police and forensic evidence, as well as the influence of racial bias in the courtroom.
